When you join us as an Indiana Credentialing Coordinator, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

We are seeking a candidate who is knowledgeable in credentialing requirements for the states of Indiana.

You Will:

  • Assist with the gathering of information required to complete credentialing and re-credentialing activities for our contracted/employed radiologist.
  • Research and obtain verifications of radiologist credentials.
  • Coordinate with hospital/internal medical centers and radiologists to complete credentialing process, including any additional documentation, verifications, references, and applications necessary.
  • Manage radiologist credentialing according to department policy and procedures.
  • Will complete and review all applications to ensure accuracy prior to submission.
  • Proficient and efficient use of Microsoft Office Suite tools and credentialing software to accurately enter and maintain physician information and track incoming and outgoing requests.
  • Monitor applications and credentialing files for completion; notifies appropriate department leads, management, and/or appropriate member of changes in a radiologist’s status.
  • File, maintain and update pertinent documents in credentialing files.
  • Maintain and ensure that all files contain all up-to-date licenses for corresponding Radiologist. Follow-up and obtain updated radiologist license when necessary.
  • Conduct verification of credentialing through the use of system resources and approved departmental tools and document status within credentialing database(s).
  • Protects organization's principles by retaining strict confidentiality.
  • Files all information promptly in corresponding credentialing files/software/database.
  • Works directly with Radiologists to complete and obtain documentation for credentialing during onboarding, licensing, payer enrollment and other assigned duties.
  • Will initiate and maintain payor enrollment.
  • Will perform facility credentialling/re-credentialling for current medical facilities. Will initiate support facility credentialing of new medical facilities and acquisition of new

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • One year or more of experience with credentialing.
  • Some health care industry knowledge is required.
  • Must demonstrate proficient computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Must have outstanding oral/written communication.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and make sound independent judgment and have strong decision-making abilities.
  • Must be knowledgeable and have a core understanding of credentialing and completing and reviewing credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
  • Knowledge of data management and documentation
