Job Summary
  • The Clinic Patient Care Assistant (CPCA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect care for patients presenting for preventative services, specialty services, urgent or emergent issues, and potential health problems.
  • Care will be provided under the supervision of the practice physician and/or advanced practice provider. Services provided by the CPCA may include, but are not limited to, general patient rooming, assistance with procedures, and patient charting.
  • The Clinic Patient Care Assistant (CPCA) has a scope of practice that will be discussed during the interview. The manager will provide a list of things that will be considered in an out of scope for this position.
  • Order entry may be performed under the following conditions: a minimum of 1 year of experience, approval by both the physicians and Practice Manager, and ABROE credentialed.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
