Job description

Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high-traffic airports, including Denver, San Diego, and John Wayne Airports. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, and full-service restaurants and bars.


Position Overview:

The Creative Services Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of marketing, branding, and promotional initiatives across Mission Yogurt and its portfolio of restaurant and retail concepts. This role serves as the primary creative resource for the organization, providing design, content development, branding, and marketing support across all departments.


The Creative Services Specialist develops creative materials, manages brand assets, coordinates promotional campaigns, and ensures consistent brand presentation across digital, print, in-store, and airport environments. This position collaborates closely with Operations, Human Resources, Training & Development, Finance, Business Development, and restaurant leadership teams to create engaging content that supports business objectives, optimizes operations, enhances guest experiences, strengthens employee engagement, and develops visual materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative Design & Brand Management
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral including menus, signage, promotional materials, digital displays, presentations, advertisements, and branded communications.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all Mission Yogurt concepts, restaurants, retail locations, and corporate materials.

  • Maintain and organize brand standards, creative assets, photography, logos, templates, and marketing resources.

  • Coordinate updates to menus, pricing materials, and operational marketing collateral as needed.

Creative Services & Internal Support
  • Serve as the primary creative services partner for all Mission Yogurt departments, providing design, branding, and content support for company initiatives.

  • Develop creative materials and produce flyers, posters, presentations, digital assets, promotional pieces, training materials, recruiting materials, and branded communications for internal and external audiences.

  • Provide creative support for company events, new restaurant openings, training programs, recruiting initiatives, and special projects.

  • Ensure all creative deliverables are accurate, professional, and aligned with company branding and messaging standards.

Marketing & Promotional Support
  • Assist in planning and executing visual campaigns, promotions, new restaurant openings, seasonal initiatives, and special events.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify marketing opportunities and promotional needs.

  • Support airport-specific marketing initiatives, partnerships, and promotional opportunities.

  • Promote Mission Cares program through internal communications, digital content, printed materials, and event marketing to increase awareness and engagement.

Digital & Content Management
  • Create content for websites, social media platforms, email communications, and digital advertising initiatives.

  • Assist with maintaining restaurant and company website content, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.

  • Coordinate photography, content collection, and creative assets for marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor and update digital menu boards and other guest-facing digital marketing channels as assigned.

Project Coordination
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business priorities.

  • Coordinate with external vendors, printers, designers, photographers, marketing partners, and community organizations.

  • Track project timelines and ensure marketing and creative materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.

  • Support cross-functional projects involving Operations, Human Resources, Training & Development, Finance, and Executive Leadership.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, creative services, graphic design, communications, or a related role.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and other content creation and design platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and brand consistency.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Experience supporting hospitality, restaurant, retail, or multi-unit operations strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing social media content and digital marketing initiatives.

  • Photography, videography, and video editing experience.

  • Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.


PHYSICAL WORKING DEMANDS:

  • Position requires prolonged sitting, walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, twisting, repetitive use of hands, simple and power grasping with hands, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENCY: Two years of the appropriate type and level of experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.
