Associate Creative Director
JOB OVERVIEW
As Associate Creative Director, you will act as an extension of the Creative Director, focusing your strategic and creative leadership on Tier 2 and 3 clients. You're the kind of creative leader who not only understands how to translate brand strategy into compelling campaigns but also thrives on guiding and inspiring creative teams to deliver exceptional work in a fast paced environment. You'll also play a vital role in supporting the growth of our creative department by mentoring our creative team managers and emerging talent, championing a positive, collaborative spirit, ultimately amplifying our company vision and impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy Implementation & Project Focus (Tier 2 & 3 Clients on Brand Track)
    • Implement brand strategy and guidelines for assigned clients.
    • Develop clear creative briefs and cascade to creative team ensuring understanding and alignment.
    • Oversee project execution for quality and creative timelines.
  • Creative Sales For Existing Clients
    • Identify opportunities for creative service upselling, aligning with client service excellence.
    • Develop creative proposals with account management.
    • Present creative concepts to clients.
    • Build strong client creative relationships.
  • Creative Department Leadership & Management
    • Oversee & mentor creative managers / direct reports, and rising stars on the creative team.
    • Foster a collaborative creative environment cross departmentally.
    • Assist Creative Director in allocating creative resources.
    • Provide feedback in creative review and intake process.
  • Upholding Agency Quality Standards
    • Ensure brand consistency in all creative work.
    • Maintain high standards for creative deliverables set by Creative Director.
    • Stay updated on industry trends.
    • Be a champion of client service excellence for creative services.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in content development and creative leadership. Creative or marketing agency experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, art and design or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful and innovative campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills and a deep understanding of how to convey brand messages effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and client skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A master delegator.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Asana is a plus.
