Job Summary
The Patron Services Associate oversees the day-to-day operations of the Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center (PAC) administrative office, including the ticket office, while serving as the primary front-of-house administrator for the PAC. The Patron Services Associate plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and accessible environment for patrons, donors, and clients, assisting the PAC Director to ensure that their needs are met.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the PAC administrative office, including ticket office functions, patron services, and maintaining the administrative office, lobby, and audience chamber
  • Prepare PAC newsletters, marketing materials, and coordinate PAC participation in on-campus and community outreach events
  • Conduct arts administration industry research and provide operational and strategic support to the PAC Director
  • Coordinate guest artist accommodations, process payment requests, and support administrative and event-related logistics
  • Coordinate front-of-house operations to ensure a professional guest experience and assist with event setup, changeovers, load-ins, and load-outs
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise student assistants, work-study staff, and event volunteers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PAC information for patrons, donors, clients, staff, and guest artists
  • Maintain and update the PAC patron database, oversee mass mailings, and support patron, donor, and client relationship development
  • Administer the PAC School Matinee Series, including relationship management, reservations, invoicing, payment collection, seating charts, and event signage
  • Manage all PAC season, rental event, community group, and school group ticket sales using Tix ticketing software

  • Bachelor's degree in performing arts, arts administration, or related field or 4-5 years of experience in live production or event management in lieu of a bachelor's degree
