Job description

Company Overview

Chemical Guys is a fast-growing brand at the intersection of automotive care, creativity, and community. Born in Southern California, we've built a company that brings car culture together with design, innovation, and lifestyle — creating products that people are proud to use and even prouder to share.

You can find our products almost anywhere car enthusiasts shop: online, at leading retailers, and in specialty automotive stores, with a growing international presence. Supported by a passionate global community of millions of fans, detailers, and creators, Chemical Guys has become the go-to brand for anyone who loves the look, feel, and performance of a perfectly detailed ride.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping creative work moving. You're organized by nature, calm under pressure, and get real satisfaction from a well-run project. You know how to work with creatives, communicate with business stakeholders, and bring structure to a fast-moving environment without slowing anyone down.

This role sits within Creative Services and reports to the Director of Creative Services. Creative Services is part of our broader Brand team, which spans marketing, social, product, and creative services. You'll primarily support the Brand team while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization, including sales, e-commerce, and compliance. You’ll focus on managing workload, capacity, and the systems that help the creative team do their best work.

Day to day, this means juggling a mix of project types: website updates, sales assets, product launches, marketing campaigns, and more. You'll be equally comfortable managing a quick-turn ticket and coordinating a multi-team deliverable, and you'll help build the workflows that make both run smoothly.

If you have a background in creative project management, hands-on experience with project management tools, and an interest in using automation and AI to make teams more efficient, we’d love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Project Management & Operations

  • Own the day-to-day management of a high volume of concurrent projects across multiple workstreams including website, sales, marketing, and new product go-to market launches.
  • Manage all project details from intake to delivery: entering tickets, scoping requests, ensuring briefs are clear and actionable, monitoring deadlines, and facilitating feedback, approvals, and sign-offs across teams.
  • Monitor dependencies and proactively flag risks, sharing weekly status updates with stakeholders and leadership. Leading project and risk review meetings with clear next steps.
  • Help remove roadblocks with a solutions-first mindset, keeping projects moving forward.
  • Support the team in understanding capacity across workstreams, balancing priorities and setting realistic expectations with stakeholders.

Workflows, Automation & Tools

  • Help design and refine creative workflows, including intake criteria, project stages, approval paths, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain Asana automations and rules to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Use AI tools to support the project management process, from drafting briefs and summarizing feedback to forecasting timelines and surfacing insights.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools that help streamline creative operations and support their rollout.

Cross-Functional Partnership & External Coordination

  • Act as a reliable partner to teams across the organization, including sales, e-commerce, and compliance, serving as a key point of contact for incoming work.
  • Collect and share stakeholder input, helping ensure the creative team has clear direction and that final deliverables meet project goals and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with external and overseas design and video partners, and support sourcing and onboarding new vendors as needed, managing briefs, feedback cycles, and final delivery.
  • Support the team’s use of Bynder for asset sharing and organization, helping ensure assets are easy to find and delivered to the right stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in creative project management in an in-house or agency environment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, Jira, or similar platforms. Experience with Asana is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of projects across different workstreams, while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Experience building or improving workflows, with a solid understanding of project management and creative process best practices.
  • Comfort using AI tools or exploring new technology to improve team efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot risks early, with clear and thoughtful communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working in client-facing or cross-functional environments.
  • Experience working with external or overseas creative partners, including onboarding and coordination.
  • Familiarity with Bynder or similar DAM platforms is a plus.
  • A resourceful, steady approach to problem-solving, and an interest in building systems that help teams work better.
  • Experience with CPG/retail brands and new product launches is a plus.

Why You'll Love Working at Chemical Guys

You’ll join a passionate team where every project is an opportunity to make an impact — and have fun while doing it.

If you're someone who loves building systems and making the creative process run smoothly, this role was made for you.
