Quaintance-Weaver Craft Guild - Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: O.Henry Hotel, Proximity Hotel, Green Valley Grill, Print Works Bistro, Lucky 32 - Greensboro, North Carolina
Hours: Full Time

The Craft Guild is looking for a friendly and energetic staff member to join their team. We need remarkable individuals who are committed to making a difference and capable of doing not only general maintenance duties, but creating top-quality products.
Greensboro-based Quaintance-Weaver's in-house craft guild designs and produces the unique furnishings and specialty items that help set the luxury hotels and upscale restaurants apart. The overall mission of the craft guild is to supply superior products at less cost. We build custom furnishings for the QW establishments; from chairs, tables, cabinets and mirrors to large-scale paintings and maintenance projects.

What are the responsibilities of a Craftsperson with the QW Craft Guild?
  • Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals.
  • Follow all systems for safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situations
  • Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times

What Skills and Experience are Desired for a Craft Guild - Maintenance Technician?
  • Schedule availability to include morning shift Monday to Friday, weekends and nights depends on the projects.
  • Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative
  • Ability to retain and recall detailed information
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent unexpected downtime
  • Welding and mechanical at any level
  • Knowledge of restaurant equipment is a plus
