Job description

Elite Drywall & Taping Inc. is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our construction team on residential remodeling and renovation projects throughout the Bay Area.

We are seeking a dependable, experienced plumber who can work independently, perform quality plumbing installations, and coordinate with other trades on active construction sites. This is an hourly/project-based position, with opportunities for ongoing work based on performance and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform plumbing work for residential remodels and renovations
  • Complete plumbing rough-ins and finish plumbing
  • Install and modify domestic water supply lines
  • Install and modify hot and cold-water distribution
  • Install and reconfigure drain, waste, and vent piping
  • Install and relocate plumbing fixtures
  • Install toilets, lavatories, faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, and related fixtures
  • Perform toilet and bathroom plumbing reconfigurations
  • Install and modify shut-off valves, supply lines, traps, and drains
  • Perform plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
  • Pressure-test water lines and test drainage systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot leaks and plumbing issues
  • Read and interpret plumbing plans and construction drawings
  • Coordinate plumbing work with framing, drywall, electrical, HVAC, and other trades
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Complete work according to applicable plumbing codes and project specifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a residential plumber
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems
  • Experience with residential remodeling and renovation projects
  • Knowledge of water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems
  • Ability to read plumbing plans and construction drawings
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Own basic plumbing hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good communication and professionalism
  • Plumbing license or applicable certification preferred

Compensation:

$40 – $55 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and scope of work.

This is an hourly/project-based position, with potential for recurring work on future residential construction projects.

Work Area:

Projects are located throughout the Bay Area, including San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, and surrounding areas.
