Job description

Prospect Builders, based in East Longmeadow, MA, has been proudly serving the community for over 50 years. We are seeking skilled Sheet rockers and Carpenters to join our team in a full-time, permanent position (not seasonal).

Sheet rocker Responsibilities

  • Install drywall panels with accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting
  • Perform repairs, patching, and replacement
  • Complete taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to a smooth, paint-ready standard
  • Work efficiently with carpenters, painters, and other trades
  • Maintain a clean, safe job site

Sheet rocker Qualifications

  • Proven drywall installation and finishing experience
  • Ability to deliver high-quality finishes
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
  • Valid driver’s license required


Framer Responsibilities

  • Construct wood and metal framing for walls, floors, and roofs
  • Read and follow blueprints and measurements accurately
  • Install windows, doors, and structural components
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ensure all framing meets building codes and company standards

Framer Qualifications

  • Experience in residential framing
  • Strong understanding of structural layout and building codes
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Valid driver’s license required
