SERVER OPPORTUNITY AT BEECHMONT COUNTRY CLUB
Beechmont Country Club is seeking a dynamic and outgoing server to deliver "5 Star" service to a dynamic membership. The ideal candidate possess knowledge and some experience of restaurant/food service operations. We will offer hands on training to learn our club service standards and expecations!
Beechmont offers multiple different restaurants within the club offering opportunities for all levels of service.

Beechmont CC is currently in final phases of renovation and will be opening in spring of 2026.
With its Centennial anniversary in 2023, Beechmont Country Club is the premier private golf and country club in greater Cleveland where the individual attitudes, values, and interests of the Members come together to create a warm and comfortable gathering place to call home. The Club offers endless opportunities to connect with friends and family, whether on the challenging Stanley Thompson designed golf course, in our state-of- the- art fitness center or over a delicious lunch on the patio after a game of tennis. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Member Recognition: Learn and memorize the names and drink preferences of regular members to provide proactive, personalized service.
  • Clubhouse Support: Assist with food service in the bar area, take reservations, and occasionally support high-volume private events.
  • Operational Setup: Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing garnishes, restocking inventory, and ensuring all glassware and silverware is polished and sanitized.
  • Compliance: Strictly adhere to state liquor laws by verifying member identification and monitoring for signs of intoxication.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must have related experience in F&B; club/restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
  • Must have food and beverage/a la carte and banquet experience
  • Ensures guest satisfaction. Anticipates guest needs, replenishes items as needed, and maintains a clean and clutter free table.
  • Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
  • Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes the Point of Sale System properly and strives for 100% accuracy in all charges and transactions.
  • Follows established training and systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
  • Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
  • Collaborates with other servers, kitchen and bar staff before, during and after meal service periods to execute a "Member/Guest Comes First" approach.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in the state of Ohio.
  • ServSafe Certified (Food Handler & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
  • They will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel, and climb
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards
  • Noise level is typically moderate to loud
  • Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
  • Work weekends and holidays

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Competitive hourly rate up to $18, plus a commission program; commensurate with verifiable experience.
  • Comprehensive full time benefits package administered by Troon that includes, among others, options for medical, dental, vision, supplemental medical, basic life & AD&D insurance, and 401(k) plan.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) per company policy
