Job description

               Mangino Chevrolet is looking to add a Parts Counter Person to our expanding team. The Parts Counter employee relies on their abilities to carry out their duties efficiently and deals with a range of our mechanical and automotive inventory. Along with interacting with clients, the counter-person will also provide product recommendations and close deals. It is essential to have both transferable and technical abilities to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish 
  • Provide Technicians with the parts they need to finish their job duties
  • Communicate with customers about the status of their order
  • Consistent with follow-up with the internal and external customers 
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information
  • Be able to read and understand the electronic parts catalog
  • Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers 
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources ans submit emergency orders as necessary 
  • Assist in the collection of payments from customers 

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with GM Auto Parts Sales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • CDK experience preferred 

Schedule: 

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Rotating Saturday 

Pay:

  • $50,000 - $70,000/year dependent on experience
