Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 3 Months
 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Private Counsel Oversight Department. This role is crucial in tracking assigned and unassigned legal cases throughout Massachusetts, especially during a period of attorney shortages. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working with sensitive information.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Track daily lists of unassigned clients and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records.

  • Use the MassCourts system to look up case details and update tracking spreadsheets accordingly.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Private Counsel Oversight Department.

  • Assist with additional office tasks as needed, depending on departmental requirements.


Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information and exercising sound judgment.

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
