Job description

The Genetics Counseling Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the genetic counseling team in the Department of Clinical Genetics. Clerical duties include but are not limited to data entry of genetic testing results, disclosure appointment scheduling, medical record collection, collaboration with external laboratories for testing supply orders, and ongoing upkeep of inventory to support clinical practice.

Experience
1 year administrative experience in the healthcare field Required
1 year experience with HIPAA and patient privacy practices Required
1 year administrative experience in clinical cancer genetics Required
General Experience and proficient knowledge in EPIC Cadence and insurance payer sites Required
