Cost Account Manager

Location: Remote with the United States

About This Opportunity

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a dynamic and fast-growing joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, is seeking a results-driven Cost Account Manager (CAM) to support the execution of major defense programs, including the Iron Dome AUR production and David Sling's Weapons System.

As a Cost Account Manager, is responsible for the planning, execution, and financial performance of assigned control accounts within a contract. Acting as the single point of accountability, the CAM ensures that scope, schedule, and budget are effectively managed in accordance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards and contractual requirements. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert impact and influence the overall goals of the Program and the IPT. The ideal candidate will have financial and project mangement responsibilities including, but not limited to risk and opportunity management, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, and management of program baselines and Budget Change Requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Control Account Plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning
  • Monitor performance using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics such as Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and variance analysis
  • Lead cost and schedule forecasting, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates and trend analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive EVMS presentations and performance reports for leadership and customer forums
  • Collaborate with project schedulers, finance analysts, and technical leads to ensure cross-functional alignment and integrated planning
  • Identify risks and opportunities within control accounts and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards including DFARS requirements
  • Support Supply Chain in material forecasting and monthly reporting activities
  • Maintain and report monthly performance metrics including On-Time Delivery, Kit Availability, and Quality indicators
  • Perform additional position-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in cost and schedule performance management
  • Demonstrated experience with cost and schedule performance baselines, material forecasting, and labor management
  • Proven ability to analyze cost, schedule, and technical data with attention to detail
  • Strong experience summarizing and presenting complex data to senior leadership in clear, concise, and compelling formats
  • Demonstrated success leading, working, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a government contracting environment with DoD and non-DoD customers
  • Team lead or management-level leadership experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) certification
  • Direct experience supporting DoD or aerospace/defense programs
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably IFS
