Corporate Associate | Los Angeles

Compensation: $230,000 to $350,000 base salary.



A highly regarded Los Angeles law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with 3+ years of transactional experience to join its growing corporate practice.


The team represents middle-market companies, investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other capital providers across a broad range of sophisticated business transactions.


The practice includes:

• Mergers & acquisitions

• Equity financings

• Joint ventures and strategic transactions

• Technology transactions

• General corporate and outside GC counseling

• Corporate governance and related transactional matters

Clients range from public and private companies to family offices and entrepreneurs across technology, media, entertainment, consumer products, food and beverage, financial services, and manufacturing.


Ideal candidates will have:

• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience

• Strong experience drafting and negotiating corporate documents

• Experience with M&A, financings, joint ventures, or general corporate matters

• Excellent academic credentials

• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills


Associates meeting the firm's performance expectations, including a 1,900-hour target, can earn approximately $380,000 to $475,000 in total compensation. Additional bonus opportunities are available for hours above the target as well as work originated by the associate.
