The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy leads high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives that shape Walmart’s future growth. This role focuses on tackling complex, ambiguous challenges -- developing strategic recommendations and driving execution on the company’s most critical priorities. Working closely with senior leadership, you will translate insights into action through structured problem-solving, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also includes a targeted competitive intelligence component, focused on identifying external disruptions and emerging trends that can inform and accelerate Walmart’s strategic agenda. Success requires strong ownership, influence, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Enterprise Strategy team at Walmart leads the development and execution of company-wide strategies that drive growth and operational excellence. Organized into four key pillars, the team integrates enterprise priorities, supports executive decision-making, manages the portfolio, and advances future growth initiatives. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, the team delivers data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions. This group tackles complex challenges, turning strategy into actionable outcomes that shape Walmart’s future in a dynamic retail environment, ensuring alignment with core business objectives and long-term success.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the development of high-impact, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, translating complex problems into clear, actionable plans driving business outcomes.
  • Structure and solve ambiguous business challenges by synthesizing data, financial analysis, and strategic frameworks into recommendations.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on priorities, inform key decisions, and ensure successful execution of critical initiatives.
  • Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options, trade-offs, and long-term value creation.
  • Identify and assess external disruptions, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics to inform strategies and accelerate growth.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of strategic projects, including defining scope, managing timelines, and delivering measurable impact at scale.

  • Extensive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related roles within complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Track record of owning and delivering large-scale, end-to-end initiatives with measurable impact.
