Job Description:
Directs the compilation and edits of project documentation, including issues/risks and action item logs. Actively participates in each stage of a transaction's life cycle to understand strategic imperatives and risks. Voices questions and concerns about impacts between stages of the same transaction or between competing transactions. Partners with cross-functional peers and project managers to monitor Corporate Development activities. Manages updates to the Corporate Development playbook to reflect changes in process and best practice learnings. Fosters positive working relationships and open communication across all Corporate Development activity teams and stakeholders. Identifies opportunities to improve processes throughout projects and applies lessons learned to future initiatives. Partners with Organizational Integration to ensure smooth execution of target integration plans. Directs the coordination of target integration command center at go-live. Collaborates with team leaders responsible for resolving integration issues. Oversees the process and maintenance of the Brand Crosswalk and associated governance committee. Other duties as assigned. Leads the execution of transactions and department projects to ensure successful outcomes. Oversees project management personnel to ensure resource requirements meet business objectives. Manages multiple competing Corporate Development activities to minimize negative impact on facilities, resources, and timelines.
Responsible for leading complex M&A transactions and partnerships in support of the system-wide corporate development strategy. This position is comfortable and competent across all aspects of the M&A lifecycle. Additionally, this role is highly collaborative across a range of transaction groups and manages junior team members to drive the successful identification, assessment, and execution of value-adding transactions. In addition, this position provides assistance to the Treasury team in the placement of debt that supports the company. This role contributes to the overall strategic direction and financial stability of the organization.
  • Job Description
    Tracks market-led opportunities to identify potential business growth areas. Develops business cases to support new initiatives and investments. Provides guidance on market and competitor research to inform strategic decisions. Oversees M&A opportunity pipeline tracking to ensure timely progress and updates. Reviews transaction status to monitor progress and address any issues. Coordinates RFP responses to secure new business opportunities. Leads due diligence processes to ensure thorough evaluation of potential deals. Engages with key SMEs and third parties to gather insights and support transactions. Manages transaction execution to ensure successful completion of deals. Works with the VP of Corporate Development on strategic investments to drive growth. Collaborates with the Treasury team on debt transactions to support financial strategies. Other duties as assigned. Develops transaction documentation to formalize agreements and terms.
