Job description

CORE is seeking a Construction Technology Specialist for our Midwest region, based in our Indianapolis office. The new CT Specialist will work with a team of technology and construction operations professionals across the country to best equip our project teams to provide the highest level of professional service in the construction industry. The position requires excellent teaching, communication, and customer service skills, utilizing those skills to guide a national standard of efficiency and professionalism to best serve our clients. The employee will be based out of our Indianapolis, IN office but must be willing to travel to other offices and jobsites throughout the States of Indiana and Illinois as needed.
Patience and empathy are key requirements of this role. We are looking for a collaborative individual, able to serve others, troubleshoot technology problems, and willing to research new methods, best practices and new technologies to keep in line with our CORE value of Continuous Improvement.
Responsibilities to Include:
  • Identify processes that should be improved and research/evaluate tools that will address the issues
  • Proactive support & education of project teams on construction related technologies
  • Continuous education of our project teams through the teaching of classes based on standard curriculum as well as classes determined to be needed by Operation Directors & CT leadership
  • Onboarding & education of new hires
  • Identifying processes that should be improved and researching and implementing tools that will address the issues identified
  • Managing the roll out of new processes and/or software to project teams
  • Development & maintenance of SOP's and best practices for all construction software
  • Development & maintenance of construction technology curriculum in collaboration with other team members
  • Development of strong connections to the local Operations Directors and other local leadership
  • Commitment to consistent, clear communication with Operations and CT leadership
  • Continuously building a strong working knowledge of our construction technology solutions including Procore, Viewpoint Vista, Microsoft Project, and others.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with in construction industry technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • A positive, professional, and empathetic attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • A strong learning aptitude and desire to continuously improve
  • Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
  • Experience supporting both local and remote users
  • Must be willing to travel within the states of Illinois, Indiana and even Southern Michigan
  • Must be willing to travel to our Headquarters in Frisco, TX for onboarding and other national meetings.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
