We are looking for a dynamic, customer service oriented individual to join our Office Services team in our busy production center. Our ideal candidate will have prior office services experience, or great computer/tech skills. A team player, and someone who can be flexible with their schedule. Shift 7-4, but need to be able to work as late as 10-7 on occasions.

Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: 23.00 - 25.00hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (flexibility with working 10am-7pm as needed)

Responsibilities:

Copy Services

  • Immediate attention given to clients entering Copy/Mail Center in accordance with Opensity's standard of operation
  • Accurately produce copy, print and scan projects in accordance to verbal and written instructions
  • Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly produce staff copy projects
  • Producing print ready color & B&W print and copy work printers.
  • Completing on-site finishing, as required, using equipment and supplies.
  • Provide file preparation for digital printing including pre-flight, file preparation, document merge/conversion functions using MAC based layout software including but notlimitedto adobe creative Suites.
  • Under minimal supervision, skillfully operate current digital production and finishing devices
  • Under minimal supervision produce complex printed copy, monitoring quality of printed copy for color consistency, paper position and registration. Make necessary quality control adjustments throughout production process to achieve set quality standards.
  • Make quick and accurate judgements regarding quality of printed copy,quickly identifying the cause of poor finishing and make corrective device adjustments.
  • Ensuring operational readiness and safety,according to manufacturer's guidelines, perform proper daily and periodically scheduled maintenance including cleaning and making minor mechanical adjustments to keep machinery operating at optimum capacity.
  • Supporting maintenance of frequently used, on-demand files, to reduce obsolescence.
  • Providing consultative approach to work requests, as needed, to capture production and cost efficiencies.
  • Using established list of off-site vendors to produce work to meet quality and turnaround requirements, when it is determined appropriate based on the type of work requested.
  • Supporting and maintaining minimum par levels of supplies to maintain just-in-time approach to minimize excess levels of supplies on hand.
  • Providing copies of weekly supplies inventory report.
  • Communicating the need for ordering supplies and place orders upon approval.
  • Providing primary Key Operator Duties supporting basic maintenance of center's printer equipment (clear paper jams, adding toner, etc.).
  • Ordering and overseeing completion of additional equipment service, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Minimum of 1 year professional level work experience in a copy production environment
  • Previous experience in a client service oriented field preferred
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

The Compensation range for this role is up to 24.50 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
