Walters Wholesale Electric Company, an affiliate of USESI, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Machine Operator Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Jurupa Valley, CA location.

Function:

The Machine operator is responsible for all aspects of Operating different types of Machines, Chop saw, Band Saw, bending board, Coupling, Reducing & Belling machine.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate Machinery to assist in the production process
  • Produce material at a productive rate.
  • Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • General facility maintenance.
  • Physical checks of Production & Quality Control.
  • Safety Awareness of machinery and workplace.
  • Maintained work area organize and clean.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Be able to identify pipe per size and type
  • Knowledgeable on how to use a measuring tape and other tools
  • Basic math skills and reasoning skills
  • General understating of a warehouse environment
  • Willing to learn new task Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience is a plus
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions
  • Ability to move/lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to withstand temperature of a typical warehouse environment
  • Ability and desire to learn warehouse and company operations
