We operate in a dynamic and competitive industry and our consistent growth reflects our continued commitment to innovation and customer success.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our North American event strategy.
The Event Marketing Manager will act as the "Captain" of the show floor for our marquee moments (Salesforce World Tours, TDX, Dreamforce). You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product to support Sales, high-quality meetings and activations and high ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Pipeline Acceleration
  • Operate Tier 1 events as a primary demand generation channel. Support the shift of focus from "brand awareness" to measurable growth in pipeline generation and acceleration.
  • Own the strategy for maximizing face-to-face time. Work with Sales leadership and field marketing to pre-book prospect and customer meetings, executive dinners, and ancillary networking events. Ensure dedicated meeting rooms are utilized effectively to accelerate deals/host executive meetings.

  • Execute comprehensive internal rollouts for Sales and BDR teams. Provide rules of engagement, target attendee intelligence, and messaging playbooks and sales ready templates/kits to ensure the field is prepared to convert onsite interactions.

Operational Excellence, Brand & Staffing
  • Operationally excellent at managing large B2B marketing events. Must be detail oriented and able to coordinate diverse teams to come together for a moment in time that makes a big impact on prospects and customers.
  • Act as the brand guardian of the brand on the show floor. Ensure every kiosk, demo station, signage, staff apparel and content aligns strictly with corporate brand guidelines and provides differentiation. You will actively monitor the booth to ensure it remains pristine, professional, and "on brand" at all times.
  • Oversee all onsite staffing readiness and logistics. This includes selecting the right mix of technical and sales staff, creating coverage schedules, and delivering pre-event training to ensure every staff member is on-message, approachable, and proactively engaging attendees.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and SEs to coordinate session content and technical demo setups. Ensure demo stations are functioning perfectly and tracking engagement metrics.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Support
  • Act as a strategic resource and force multiplier for internal teams (e.g., Partner Marketing) that may lack dedicated event staff. You will actively step in to provide guidance, templates, or direct operational support to ensure all activations meet Copado's high standards.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage external agencies and vendors (fabricators, AV, F&B, hotels, etc) to deliver high-quality production within budget.

Performance Reporting & Analytics
  • Define and track clear KPIs for every event, including booth scans, MQLs, conversions, meetings booked, and pipeline influence. Move beyond any vanity metrics to report on true business impact. Responsible for all metrics updated and current in Salesforce.
  • Lead post-mortem reviews within one week and +2 months of event completion, delivering analysis on lead quality, meeting outcomes, and logistical learnings to leadership.
  • Help track event spend and support budget reconciliation for the AMER event budget. Ensure rigorous reconciliation, distinct tracking of spend, and strict adherence to quarterly financial targets (aiming for high ROI).

Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-4+ years experience in B2B Event Marketing (SaaS preferred, Salesforce ecosystem an added bonus), with a proven track record of managing end to end trade shows (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tours).
  • On-site Management Skills: You are comfortable correcting issues on the spot, coaching staff on booth etiquette, and fixing brand inconsistencies immediately.
  • Service-Oriented Mindset: You are willing to roll up your sleeves to help other internal teams succeed, even if it falls slightly outside your core remit.
  • Sales Alignment: Strong experience working directly with Sales leadership and BDR teams to drive pipeline outcomes.

(IE: marketing, sales, customer experience/support, pre-sales/SE, and executive leadership team) Track record for pulling teams together in common work streams and communication channels.
