Position Overview
The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer (Programmer 5) to design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, and Salesforce Public Sector solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce development experience, strong integration expertise, and experience with DevOps, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and OmniStudio
  •  Build and maintain OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures
  •  Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware tools. 
  •  Perform code reviews and provide technical leadership. 
  •  Support CI/CD pipelines using Gearset, Copado, or similar DevOps tools. 
  •  Perform Salesforce administration tasks including user management, security configuration, automation, and data management. 
  •  Support application deployments across development, testing, and production environments. 
  •  Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation. 
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of Salesforce Development experience. 
  • 2–3+ years of Salesforce OmniStudio experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience with: 
    •  Apex 
    •  Triggers 
    •  Batch Apex 
    •  Salesforce APIs 
    •  Lightning Web Components (LWC) 
  •  Experience with OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation
  •  Experience migrating data or designing Salesforce OmniStudio solutions. 
  •  Experience developing Experience Cloud sites. 
  •  Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Gearset, Copado, and version control. 
  •  Experience with Salesforce Data Loader and Workbench
Preferred Skills
  •  Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (Grants Management)
  •  Experience with MuleSoft integrations. 
  •  Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration and security. 
  •  Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations. 
Required Certification
