Lead Java Developer

Apex Systems, the largest publicly traded IT Staffing & Services Company, is supporting our fortune 200 client in the Cleveland area on a Lead Java Developer for a contract to hire role. We are looking for a strong back end developer who understands Java development and has leadership qualities to help lead a backend team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team for back end development but also to diversify their experience with good exposure to AEM in an e-commerce environment.

Required Skills of Web Developer

  • 8+ years’ experience in web design preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in front end web development
  • 7+ years’ experience with Java is a must
  • 2 years’ experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), formerly known as CQ5 preferred
  • Experience with AEM 6.* preferred
  • Some experience using JavaScript experience nice to have
  • 2 years responsive development experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services a plus
  • Above average experience with Angular nice to have.
