Job description

ProPursuit are currently looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer for a world leading consultancy client of ours based in Germany.

The role will be fully remote, where you’ll be leading a small DevOps team of 3-5 members including other DevOps Engineer’s and Administrators.

Your role:

  • According to the DevOps model, they work closely with our agile development teams and help to automate and accelerate the software development process
  • Help manage and coach other team members
  • You combine knowledge from software development and system administration for continuous process improvement
  • As part of an international team, you will reliably improve our solutions using Configuration as Code and GitOps
  • You will be part of a team responsible for developing group-level information management processes and a metadata management system solution
  • In addition to its own team, Lead Developer also works with business teams, platform support teams and other technical teams.

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years professional experience within IT
  • Experience in developing masterdata capabilities, data standardization, and quality development
  • Experience in metadata management – business Glossary, Lineage, data dictionaries, ETL is essential.
  • Experience in the Data Governance Catalog, IBM InfoSphere (or other metadata solution)
  • Experience in ETL or integration development, REST and open API technologies
  • Experience in other metadata management solutions such as Informatica, Collibra, Erwin, Alation is also taken into account.
  • Data architecture or solution architecture
  • Germany and English fluency is a must
