As Coordinator I, you play a critical role in the organization and management of the Volunteer Department. In this role, you will support daily operations by preparing reports, coordinating schedules, assisting with special projects and activities, and recommending team development initiatives. You will serve as the dispatcher for volunteer transport services, ensuring timely coordination of patient transportation needs. Your work directly enhances departmental workflow and efficiency, helping support high quality patient care and a positive experience for patients, caregivers, and visitors.

This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working shifts varying between 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. with weekend requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Coordinate department project activities.
  • Develop department resource databases tofacilitatemanagement of various project activities.
  • Coordinate department scheduling of individuals,resourcesand activities.
  • Coordinate administrative activities for the department (e.g., coordinating resources,timingand activities).
  • Manage department schedule for key activities.
  • Ensure that administrative support is provided as needed.
  • Participate in project teams and build competency around specific department tools and methods for organizational performance improvement.
  • Maintain data, developdatabasesand complete analysis.
  • Provide reports and prepare charts,presentationsor summary data.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • HighSchoolDiploma or GED and two years of experience
  • ORBachelor'sDegree

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Experience coordinating multiple functions, managingdataand leading mid-size projects
  • Management experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $18.50

Maximum hourly: $18.50
