Job description

Cook/ Manager needed for School food service program in the Rockaway Twp, NJ area. K - 12 experience a plus. Monday through Friday. Part time position, day shift 5 to 6 hours daily. No weekends or Holidays. Summers off.
Must be organized. Able to multitask and lead in a positive manner. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
Duties to include:
  • Food preparation
  • Cooking
  • POS systems
  • Following recipes according to the NSLP guidelines.
  • Stocking
  • Ordering
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
  • Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure Personal protection equipment is used at all times.
  • Inventories
  • Oversee kitchen area and staff, etc.
