About This Role
Full Job Description

Compass Academy is now hiring enthusiastic kitchen staff with a range of experience for cooking for prepping meals for the kids. The ideal candidate can multi-task in a preschool environment, is comfortable taking directions and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:


ELIGIBILITY



What You'll Do
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks.
  • Prepare milk and water cups.
  • Load, unload dishwasher, pack and serve class portions
  • Prepare and cook menu items by following instructions and adhering to allergies and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by maintaining occupational health & safety standards (e.g., WHMIS labels, food handling, storage, hygiene, etc.)
  • Help keep track of kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Report any concerns, incidents, losses, or damages to the director
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings
  • Other related duties as required to help out team members during their lunchbreaks

Requirements
  • 1 Year Kitchen experience
  • Age 21 or older
  • Must be legally able to work in America
  • Clean background check
  • A passion for kids!!!
