Job description

Join the team at the amazing DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport as a Convention Services Manager.

The CSM is a hospitality professional responsible for driving food and beverage revenue by soliciting, booking, and planning events.


Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Prospect new corporate and social accounts, handle incoming leads, and negotiate event contracts to meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals.
  • Event Planning & Detailing: Guide clients through menu selection, room layouts, and vendor coordination. Translate these details into accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for the staff.
  • Client Relations: Conduct property or site tours, menu tastings, and regular meetings with clients to ensure high satisfaction and build repeat business.
  • Operations Liaison: Collaborate closely with the executive chef, culinary team, and banquet staff to ensure flawless execution of the event on the day of.
  • Administrative Forecasting: Maintain client databases in CRM systems to provide sales forecasts and manage event billing.

Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or Business, or 2+ years of experience in hotel sales, catering, or event management.
  • Exceptional communication, persuasive negotiation, and strong problem-solving skills, especially when handling last-minute changes.
  • The ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
