Convention Coordinator


Do you like to travel and meet new people?  Do you have boundless energy and a great attention to detail?  Are you a great organizer?  If so, this could be the role for you.

As the Convention Coordinator for Tycoon Games, you will be responsible for organizing, setting up and managing the booths at all our key Game shows in the US and Europe. 


Requirements

    • Decisive- Comfortable making decisions or quickly finding solutions to problems.
    • Detail Oriented - Always making sure that every detail has been thought about and covered.


Duties

       This role is responsible and accountable for:

  • Working with the leadership team to agree and envision what our presence will be at each of the major trade and consumer shows that we will be attending.
  • Work with the graphics team to design our booth and get approval from the leadership team.
  • Planning all aspects of the show.
  • Attending all shows from set up to break down.
  • Manage the main show booth.
  • Working with show organizers to provide all necessary details for the show and chase to get everything that we requested.
  • Building relationships with the show organizers.
  • Working with the Community Manager to sign up Deputies for shows.
  • Organizing and ordering all equipment and booth materials needed for the show in good time.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and product needed for a show has been pre shipped or is packed to be taken there by staff.
  • Conducting set up “dress rehearsals” before the show.
  • Keeping all Convention materials  and equipment stored in the warehouse in a neat, organised and easily accessible state.
  • Planning staffing for all shows for both Tycoon games staff and Deputies.
  • Planning and managing all staff and deputy schedules before and during the shows.
  • Organize all convention supplies, tools etc in designated area in the warehouse and ensure that proper materials get to the show.
  • Organizing and managing events that are held during shows.
  • Ordering, picking up and distributing badges at shows.
  • Delivering post show reports and improvement suggestions for shows going forward.
