Job Summary:
Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls.
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply best practices theory
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and execute in the field solutions
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Some travel required
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete complex audio/video installs, setup, and calibration with Control4 programming
  • Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
  • Advanced networking/data system design, installation, and setup
  • Complete programming of Control4 systems, including integrations
  • Support of third-party products and systems
  • Install and setup of shades, LED lighting, landscape lighting, etc

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • 1-3 years experience in Control4 programming and system setup, Control4 certification preferred
  • 1-3 years experience installing, calibrating, whole house audio/video, home theaters, surround sound systems
  • High level of customer interaction - Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
  • Ability to work on rotating on-call service schedule
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Minimum of 3 years of field experience

Optional Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
  • 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
  • 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
