Job description

SDI Boston is hiring a Lead Audio Visual Installer to their home technology team. We install home technology in the most beautiful precious places, client's homes and work spaces. Applicants applying for this position will be responsible for the general installation of audio, video, and control system equipment, cabling, and all other related tasks.

Responsibilities

Installation of Shades

Installation of Home Technology Systems

Lift up to 75 lbs

Assist other installers and be part of a team-player environment

Must have his own tools

Talk to contractors and designer

Report back everyday with photos.

Qualifications

Must have control systems experience.Control4, Lutron and Programming experience. (a Must)

Must be able to guide a team under them of 2 or more helpers.

Basic understanding of construction, blueprints and drawings, building codes, and safety

Knowledge of computer-based applications with the ability to learn quickly

Excellent written and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work flexible hours

Valid Driver's License (Required), you will have to maintain a valid driver's license for this position.

English Proficiency

Control System Experience Preferred, but not Required. (Control4, Savant, Crestron or Others)

Low Voltage: 1 Year Experience (Preferred)
