Position Summary:
KSM is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Associate to join our Internal Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payment of vendor obligations.
The Accounts Payable Associate supports financial accuracy by maintaining invoice integrity, reconciling vendor accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close activities.
This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based on business needs and individual circumstances, with four days in the office and one remote workday per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, proper authorization, and compliance with company policies
  • Prepare and issue vendor payments within established timelines
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist with annual 1099 filings for vendors
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable activities
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the Accounts Payable function
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
