Facilities Contractor
Position Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Contractor to primarily support facility permitting, licensing, and compliance activities for our office and R&D facilities in Milpitas, CA. This role will coordinate permit applications, communicate with local authorities and vendors, and help ensure facility projects are completed in compliance with applicable regulations. Additional facility support will be provided as needed.

20 Hours/week
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate permit and license applications for facility-related projects.
  • Communicate with local authorities, inspectors, landlords, contractors, and vendors throughout the permitting process.
  • Support tenant improvement (TI), renovation, and facility construction projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with facility-related documentation, compliance records, and project coordination
  • Monitor building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire/life safety, and security systems.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor services as needed.
  • Support office operations and other facility projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities, building operations, property management, or related fields.
  • Experience coordinating commercial permits, inspections, or regulatory approvals.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting office, engineering, laboratory, or R&D facilities.
