Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct facility, renovation, infrastructure, and capital improvement initiatives for an enterprise organization in Central Ohio. This role manages projects through their entire lifecycle-from initial planning and scope definition through execution, turnover, and closeout. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operational activities.
Responsibilities/skills: End-to-End Project Execution: Lead facility, renovation, and capital improvement projects from initial scoping and estimating through construction, commissioning, and final closeout. Budget & Schedule Oversight: Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, milestones, cost tracking, forecasts, contingency usage, and formal change order processes. Contractor & Vendor Management: Direct and collaborate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and external vendors while overseeing site logistics, inspections, and safety/regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Alignment & Transition: Partner with cross-functional leadership to define project objectives, deliver executive-level status reporting, and manage space readiness and operational handover. Qualifications: Proven track record managing commercial facilities, renovation, infrastructure, or capital improvement construction projects. Strong expertise in project budgeting, master scheduling, risk mitigation, and vendor/contractor management within complex operational environments.
Excellent cross-functional communication and reporting skills, with the ability to align project goals across diverse teams and leadership levels. Must be local to the Greater Columbus, OH area with the ability to work in a hybrid model and be onsite as project milestones dictate. PMP certification, formal project management training, or a relevant technical degree is a plus.
