Job Summary:

CommandTec, LLC has a requirement for a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Training Specialist II in support of a federal government customer providing technical, training, and engineering support services for complex systems and operational environments. The Training Specialist II plans, coordinates, administers, evaluates, and continuously improves complex government training programs, exercising discretion and independent judgment in training operations, scheduling priorities, resource allocation, and program effectiveness. This position serves as the liaison between engineering, installation, program management, and training personnel to ensure training activities, schedules, resources, and documentation are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with contractual requirements, program objectives, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of training program execution in support of Taiwan ITES FMS training requirements, including scheduling, logistics, and resource coordination
  • Develop and maintain master training schedules, training management plans, and program of instruction (POI) documentation aligned to FMS case requirements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the training team and systems engineering, installation, and program management personnel to synchronize training with system fielding and installation milestones
  • Independently coordinate, prioritize, and resolve scheduling conflicts among Taiwan partner nation representatives, NAVWAR officials, engineering personnel, and program leadership to ensure the successful execution of training requirements.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness through assessments, student feedback, performance metrics, and operational data; analyze trends, identify deficiencies, recommend and implement corrective actions and process improvements, and prepare training status reports and recommendations for program leadership and government customers.
  • Ensure training programs comply with NAVWAR, DoD, FMS, contractual, and organizational requirements, recommending procedural improvements when deficiencies are identified.
  • Maintain comprehensive training records, databases, and documentation in accordance with NAVWAR and FMS reporting requirements
  • Identify and coordinate facilities, equipment, training aids, and administrative support required to execute training events in the OCONUS Taiwan environment
  • Support development and periodic revision of training plans, POIs, and training support packages (TSPs) in coordination with Curriculum Developers
  • Monitor compliance with established training standards, quality benchmarks, and contract deliverable requirements
  • Coordinate translation and interpretation support for training events involving Taiwan partner nation personnel, as required
  • Conduct and document after-action reviews (AARs) following training events; incorporate lessons learned into future planning
  • Prepare and deliver training status briefings, progress reports, and training metrics to NAVWAR program leadership and government contracting representatives
  • Support contract data requirements list (CDRL) deliverables related to training management and reporting
  • Assist with the onboarding and orientation of newly assigned training personnel to program processes and OCONUS requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
