Lead the team powering the future of pharmacy management technology!

At Liberty Software, we proudly partner with client pharmacies across the country, helping them support their patients with powerful, user-friendly software. We're excited to grow our team by hiring a Development Team Lead to support the expansion of our pharmacy management platform.  The Development Team Lead is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for guiding a cross-functional team through design, development, and delivery of features across Liberty's platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a cross-functional development team through sprint planning, execution, and delivery 
  • Write production code in C#/.NET while balancing leadership responsibilities 
  • Conduct code reviews and design reviews, ensuring quality, security, and maintainability 
  • Own technical specification writing, design, development, testing, and support for assigned product areas 
  • Mentor and develop team members using Liberty's career progression framework 
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and objective-setting for direct reports 
  • Manage team dynamics to maintain a productive and collaborative working environment 
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and Architecture to break down features into deliverable work 
  • Identify and remove blockers that slow down the team 
  • Participate in hiring efforts including interviews and candidate evaluation 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience in C#/.NET 
  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a software development team preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices including sprint planning and retrospectives 
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct code and design reviews 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing software in healthcare, pharmacy, or another regulated industry a plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes preferred
  • Experience with web technologies (Blazor, ASP.NET, or similar) ideal
  • Prior experience managing team performance through formal review cycles desired
  • HIPPA compliance awareness as it applies to software development beneficial
