Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dania Beach, FL that is seeking a Power BI Administrator.
Responsibilities:
* Power BI: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models following industry best practices
* Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboard development, ETL processes, data modeling
* Platform Management: Administer and oversee the Power BI platform, managing user access, security settings, and integrations with other systems
* Data Gateway Installation: Install, configure, and manage onpremises data gateways to ensure secure data transfer
* Managed Virtual Networks (VNets): Implement and manage VNets for Power BI to optimize connectivity and enhance security
* System Maintenance: Conduct regular reboots, updates, and maintenance to ensure the Power BI environment remains reliable
* Fabric Experience: Utilize Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including managing data flows, pipelines, and workspace collaboration to streamline analytics processes
* Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, data governance, and regulatory standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Ideally around 8+ years of relevant expertise in data platform engineering, business intelligence, and data visualization
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Fabric certifications, or other analytics certifications
* Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Power BI administration, Fabric tools, and development
* Mandatory Power BI Development: Handson experience in Power BI report/dashboard creation, DAX calculations, and data modeling
* Experience: Several years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or IT system administration
* Best Practices Knowledge: Deep understanding of Power BI best practices for security, performance, and governance
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
