Responsibilities:
Ideally around 8+ years of relevant expertise in data platform engineering, business intelligence, and data visualization.
Power BI: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models following industry best practices.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboard development, ETL processes, data modeling
Platform Management: Administer and oversee the Power BI platform, managing user access, security settings, and integrations with other systems.
Data Gateway Installation: Install, configure, and manage onpremises data gateways to ensure secure data transfer.
Managed Virtual Networks (VNets): Implement and manage VNets for Power BI to optimize connectivity and enhance security.
System Maintenance: Conduct regular reboots, updates, and maintenance to ensure the Power BI environment remains reliable.
Fabric Experience: Utilize Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including managing data flows, pipelines, and workspace collaboration to streamline analytics processes.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, data governance, and regulatory standards.
