The Commercial Contract Manager leads the acquisition, negotiation, and compliance management of commercial contracts, fee-for-service agreements, and non-traditional funding instruments on behalf of World Vision. As institutional donors increasingly shift towards commercial contracting mechanisms, this role ensures World Vision can compete effectively, negotiate favourable terms, and manage contract performance to protect organisational interests while delivering programme impact. Grounded in the GAM Competency Framework, the position requires advanced proficiency in post-award support, grant process management, and donor relationship building, with the commercial contracting lens applied across all six competency areas.
Major Responsibilities
1) Leads commercial contract negotiations with donors, prime contractors, and partner organisations, ensuring that terms and conditions protect World Vision's interests while enabling programme delivery. Reviews and negotiates risk allocation, liability clauses, intellectual property provisions, termination terms, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
