Job description

Aquent Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Payment Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in San Jose, CA. This role will support a fast-paced finance team responsible for lease payment operations across a large lease portfolio.

In this role, you will review and process lease invoices, support payment activity, assist with landlord reconciliations, and work closely with internal partners in Real Estate, Lease Accounting, Finance, and external landlords. This is a strong fit for someone with accounts payable, payment processing, lease administration, property accounting, or real estate finance experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day finance support for a lease portfolio.
  • Review and process lease invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Support payment processing and accounts payable workflows.
  • Perform and review landlord reconciliations.
  • Communicate with internal Real Estate, Lease Accounting, and Finance partners.
  • Work with landlords and third-party partners to resolve invoice, payment, or reconciliation questions.
  • Handle and interpret large data sets.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Research discrepancies and support timely issue resolution.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, payment processing, lease administration, or a related role.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience reviewing and processing invoices.
  • Experience in payment processing or accounts payable.
  • Experience working with external vendors, landlords, or third-party partners.
  • Experience performing or reviewing reconciliations.
  • Ability to handle and interpret large data sets.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Lease experience.
