Our client seeks a Senior Exchange Administrator to support a large-scale hybrid Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Microsoft 365 environment serving over 260,000 users across classified and unclassified networks. The role will administer, maintain, monitor, and optimize enterprise messaging and directory services in a highly available environment and provide Tier III support while driving security hardening, documentation, and operational excellence.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support Exchange 2019 and Microsoft 365 messaging environments.
  • Provide Tier III support for messaging-related incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Support Active Directory and messaging directory synchronization technologies.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, event remediation, and performance optimization.
  • Perform security hardening and DISA STIG remediation activities.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to Tier I and Tier II service desk teams.
  • Assist with integrating new technologies and optimizing existing messaging solutions.
Experience Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Exchange 2019.
  • Experience supporting hybrid Exchange/O365 environments.
  • Active Directory and directory services experience.
  • Microsoft certification such as MCSE or MCITP (Exchange or Active Directory).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Exchange 2019, Microsoft 365 / O365, Active Directory (AD), ADLDS, Unity Sync, Forefront Identity Manager (FIM), Intune, VMware, NetApp, DISA STIG compliance, HBSS, enterprise messaging infrastructure support.
