Job description

Laboratory Director needed at Award Winning Hospital in South Carolina! This full service hospital is offering a competitive base salary in addition to shift differentials AND comprehensive benefits. Benefits include medical coverage, stock purchase plan, dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, vision coverage, FSA, 401K, and generous PTO! Lastly, relocation assistance might be available to the right candidate!

Requirements: 

- Master's Degree 

- Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist ASCP Certification (or equivalent) 

- Must have leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting

Responsibilities: 

- Directing and overseeing all laboratory operations in a full service clinical laboratory

- Ensures all tests and procedures are performed according to Laboratory standards and policies 

- Develops and assures compliance with all regulatory agencies and provides leadership for any changes (CAP experience strongly preferred)

- Responsible for the budget as well as preparing and reviewing contracts for the laboratory.
