Job Overview
Assistant Laboratory Manager

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Laboratory Manager to join our clinical laboratory team! If you’re passionate about laboratory science and ready to support quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Location: UC Laboratory, West Palm Beach

Pay: $60,000 to $80,000 annually dependent on experience

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM

Your Role:

· Assist with daily lab operations and staff supervision

· Oversee specimen collection and ensure accurate processing

· Maintain compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations

· Manage inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance

· Support SOP development, staff training, and competency assessments

· Participate in audits and quality control initiatives

What You’ll Need:

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related science field (Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, etc.) required.

· Certification such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred.

· Phlebotomy certification is a strong plus.

· Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory or phlebotomy experience.

· At least 1 year of supervisory or lead role experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting preferred.

· Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
