Job Title: Epic Prelude Analyst
Location: Houston, TX

Position Overview

A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic Prelude Analyst to support patient access and front-end revenue cycle operations within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic Prelude modules, ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and efficient intake workflows.


Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic Prelude modules
  • Support patient registration workflows, including demographics, insurance verification, and eligibility processes
  • Collaborate with patient access, revenue cycle, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Optimize front-end workflows to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot registration and eligibility issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live support
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and revenue cycle standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Prelude Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Prelude or patient access systems
  • Strong understanding of patient registration, insurance verification, and front-end revenue cycle workflows
  • Experience with system build, configuration, and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications
