What you'll achieve
As a Federal Strategic Programs Capture Manager, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers. You will also identify the resources needed to pursue a strategic Federal opportunity and oversee the bid strategies, teaming agreements, pricing, and proposal strategy. In addition, manage the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award.
You will:
  • Acquire new strategic programs, contract vehicles, or task orders in key segment-defined initiatives
  • Execute against measurable/quantifiable objectives
  • Identify Hardware, Software & Service Providers to address strategic initiatives
  • Develop sellable solutions to address targeted initiatives within Dell EMC.
  • Serve as liaison to key partners on named Strategic Programs
  • Support training and engagements of sales force to generate demand on targeted initiatives
  • Articulate Dell EMC value proposition to maximize share of program scope.
  • Brief executives and sales staff on program strategy, requirements, and approach
  • Maintains awareness of competitors
  • Perform cross-functional planning and coordination across all LOBs and SABs to create winning solutions
  • Obtain a line of sight and pipeline of strategic opportunities

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience selling technology solutions
  • Federal experience required.
  • Prior Business Development experience a plus.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government personnel security clearance. Active clearance preferred.
  • Excellent command skills and executive presence.
  • Strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to project a positive sales attitude.
  • Must be able to work remotely & independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Must have proven success in driving results and building effective teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT industry, Federal customers & procurement practices.

  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $200,600-$286,000 which includes base salary and commissions.
