Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Project Controls team on our project in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and execute project cost projections and forecasting, including coordination with MEP subcontractors.
  • Support internal and external cash flow management for the project.
  • Ensure timely and accurate owner billing, establishing processes for reviews and billing submissions.
  • Oversee submission of changes and compliance with prime contract requirements.
  • Establish and manage processes for internal and external change reviews.
  • Monitor reporting and metrics for change management backlog, focusing on quantity, magnitude, and aging.
  • Assist with document control for correspondence, drawings, and specifications.
  • Generate deliverables that meet prime contract reporting requirements and manage their timely submission.
  • Support development of workflows for RFIs, Submittals, Material Status, Design Management, Risk Management, Quality, and Closeout.
  • Monitor and adapt processes for project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related construction field.
  • Up to 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Outstanding communication, time management, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
