Job description

We are looking for a entry level Controls Engineer to support a thriving Manufacturer in Auburn, IN. This role will assist in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems and drive technologies under the guidance of senior engineers. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and a strong interest in industrial automation.
Qualifications
โ€ข Associate's degree in engineering technology, electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
โ€ข Minimum 6 months of professional work experience, preferably in an internship involving PLC programming and industrial automation.
โ€ข Basic understanding of electrical schematics and industrial networks
โ€ข Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
โ€ข Knowledge of industrial safety standards.
โ€ข Good communication and teamwork skills.
โ€ข Demonstrated competency in basic use of hand tools, including multimeters
โ€ข Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Skills
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
โ€ข Exposure to VFDs, servo drives, and motion control systems.
โ€ข 2 years of experience with control systems in a manufacturing environment
