Billing Analyst | Hybrid | Charlotte, NC
Our client, a growing and well-established telecommunications organization, is seeking a Billing Analyst to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone with telecom billing experience who enjoys working with large volumes of data, investigating billing discrepancies, supporting revenue accuracy, and partnering across multiple departments. Telecom industry experience is required
Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyze customer billing for commercial and enterprise accounts.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Process billing adjustments, credits, and account corrections.
  • Research customer inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Support revenue reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end activities.
  • Validate contract and order information to ensure proper billing setup.
  • Monitor billing trends and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain data integrity within billing and financial systems.
  • Assist with special projects and reporting initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of billing, revenue, accounts receivable, or billing analyst experience.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise invoicing, billing adjustments, and revenue processes.
  • Experience researching and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
