Contract-based positions are common in industries such as IT, construction, healthcare, and consulting, offering flexibility for both employers and workers. They often do not include benefits like health insurance or paid leave, but can provide higher pay rates or specialized experience. Many professionals choose contract work for its flexibility and variety of opportunities.
