Intern - Continuous Improvement

WilsonartinKlamath Fallscurrently has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Intern!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process Improvement:Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Data Collection & Analysis:Collect and interpret operational data (e.g., cycle times, downtime, inventory levels) to support decision-making.
  • Workflow Optimization:Assist in designing and implementing changes to workflows, layouts, or production schedules to enhance efficiency.
  • Time Studies & Simulations:Conduct time-motion studies, create process maps, or use simulation software to model and optimize systems.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, quality, logistics, and engineering teams to support initiatives and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Report Writing & Presentations:Summarize findings, create reports or presentations, and present recommendations to supervisors or teams.

EDUCATION:

Currently pursuing a degree. Preferably in Engineering or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

1+ years

May include other internships, or experience earned at the college level.
