  • Lead engineering projects to enhance furnace data acquisition, chart accuracy, and long-term process traceability.
  • Maintain Furnace Temperature Uniformity Survey Program.
  • Oversee secure storage, retention, and retrieval of short- and long-term furnace records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance for operations on furnace quality requirements, customer specific heat treat specifications, and industry standards such as AMS 2750
  • Partner with Process Engineering, Quality, and Metallurgy teams to interpret thermal-processing data and ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Material Science, Metallurgical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineering specifications, thermal-processing data, and pyrometry requirements.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and quality teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in a heavy-industrial environment and comply with all safety requirements.
  • Comfortable using power tools, measurement devices, and industrial equipment during furnace surveys and calibration activities.
  • Ability to pass vision test requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data-analysis tools to manage and evaluate process data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or metals-processing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, AMS 2750, and related quality-system requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies.
